7Posted by Guillaume | September 1, 2009Originally the plan was to take over the West Berlin Gallery from Lodown in 2010 but .. let’s say we got the opportunity to start earlier. Since I arrived in Berlin I was thinking about opening a location to promote the artists and designers I like. Running laFraise for about 3 years now, I have the chance to see great things & great designs everyday and I would like to share this experience. Berlin is also a great place for inspiration.
It took some time to set things up here and figure out how to combine it with my other activities, t-shirts, music and djing for the radio. Luckily everything went quick and everyone around me has been very supportive. Thanks Mates! I’ve also decided to build up a team for this project so I could manage this new activity on top of the others. It’s a lot of work but it’s also really exciting.

Now we’re working hard & quick to get the place ready. It’s taking shape. Stay tuned!

guys, i’m so happy things are going quick. now i need to do two days in one but it’s pretty excinting. tomorrow you’ll meet jelka who’s running the place for me.
