This time Félix Tarck was so nice to answer a few questions and explain the future of Picasso for me….

Hey Félix, how are you doing? Would you like to introduce yourself? Who are you, where do you live, what are you doing?
I’m both an author of comics books and an amateur illustrator, I live in Lille. And it’s damn cold here. I draw for the magazine ‚Psikopat’, in which you can find my comics every month. I also exhibit my drawings on my own blog.
Furthermore I’m looking for a job because I don’t have one, I’m hungry, HELP! If somebody can give me some work to do?

What are your sources of inspiration?
I never had one – so as I’m a  jerk I use to buy it on the internet on www.inspirationforartists.com and it’s directly delivered at home.

Why is the topic of ‚Ugly & Drippy’ interesting for you? In which way did you try to work on it?
This contest was made for me, I have immediately seen myself in this world, I have lost the contest, I got it my ass, I’m going to kill myself…

Oh, I’m really sorry for you. But I like the way your design for the ‘Ugly & Drippy’ exhibition is playing on Picasso’s cubistic women portraits. I mean, they were received as totally ugly in their time as well, but turned out to be innovative and important for the later course of arthistory…
The comparison with Picasso is obvious but this guy is a shit and I’m going to be in his way until the day where nobody will remember this little Spanish.

So I suppose you had some gallery exhibitions before?
Yes, I use to hang my drawings at the Louvre in Paris, just next to the ‚Mona Lisa’, so that the Japanese can admire my works.

Thank you very much, Felix, for this interesting interview and good luck for your way into the Olympus of art history!
Thanks!

Check out Félix’ blog for more designs and especially for his comics…
